Notes : [ The Museum collection has been considerably enlarged recently. Now it presents the sensational young generation of British artists, with works stretching from Nan Golding's gripping photo series to Rachel Whiteread's bath-tub and Chris Ofili's luminous painting with attached elephant dung! Most sensational, however, is the enlargement of the German section of the Museum collection with, among other works, Sigmar Polke's major work "Apparizione", three enormous pictures.
