Notes : [ In a now distant past, Pierluigi Matteuzzi wandered through the streets of Bolzano with an entire “exhibition” in the pockets of his jacket: tiny works, of only a few square centimeters, covered with dense markings and dark colors. Fragments of fantasies, snatches of reality, bizarre expressions of the feelings and of curious states of mind. Enrico Mascelloni has written that a restless life has filled this artist with a “voracious hunger for a way of seeing where comic demons and fantastic animals live in one another’s company.” The works on view have the air of primitive totems, to be regarded with superstitious respect. source: http://www.museion.it ]
