Notes : Libera's 'Correcting Devices' touch on the area of a child's upbringing and the human body. They are, as the artist said in an interview, "works on/with correcting devices and instruments, which already exist, but on the other hand - they are suggestions of transformations of such devices. I mean the devices which we use in our culture to exercise and determine behaviour patterns necessary for individuals to live in society." |
