Projected Allegories 26 juin 1998 - 13 septembre 1998 USA, Houston, Contemporary Arts Museum "This exhibition will introduce some of the most acclaimed recent video works to Southwest audiences. The exhibition focuses on works which engage unique narrative strategies to explore issues of individuality and social interaction. The artists chosen for the series are Douglas Gordon, Rodney Graham, William Kentridge, Leone & Macdonald, Nic Nicosia, Sam Taylor-Wood, Rosemary Trockel and Gillian Wearing. The Perspectives Gallery will be transformed into two specially darkened spaces for the ecreenings. The exhibition is accompanied by an 18 page Perspectives-format catalogue. It includes an illustration, introductory text, and selected biography for each artist. The exhibition is organizzed by the Museum's curatorial staff: Dana Friis-Hansen, Lynn M. Herbert and Alexandra Irvine."
